Help ID old painting

Here is a copy of a print of a painting that has been in the family for over 60 years.

I need info on artist, etc.

Has anyone seen this before...anywhere? I believe I have seen it on the net, but didn't have time to check it out. If anyone knows where I can find it on the net that would be great!

Sorry about the blotch in the middle, but all it is hiding is the woman's head and some of the dead tree nearby. I believe the painting is called "Christmas Eve."

ALL help much appreciated.
