Hello All,
I have read the other posts regarding this issue, and they are very helpful. However, I have a question that I didn't see posted. I have an 8x10 portrait professional photo that has adhered on most of the bottom 1 1/2" . The rest of the photo is fine. I was interested in trying the water method, but I am uncomfortable submerging the entire print in water, as I could live with the photo being a bit shorter over destroying it, as I have never tried anything like this. My questions are, would I be able to only submerge the portion that is affected? As in have the photo and glass standing straight up in water? Or would the water just creep up anyway? Do you recommend another option? The paper is Kodak professional ENDURA, if that helps. The photo is only a few years old, and the damage was recent. Also, I do not have photo-Flo, do you think I need it for this small of an area? Hard to explain but, the damage is shaped like an L on it's side, | __l| along the bottom across 5 of the 8" and about an inch or so up, and running up right side about 2". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
