Is this the original scan? Can you post a larger image?

Think you will find that is the original size as it's a webcam shot by the looks of it . Not sure how much better you can get this, but will have a go later

Hi Novizrdi!

I ask the same - Is this an exact copy/scan of the original before any work was done to it? If not would you please post the image without any editing?

Later!
Jon

Hi!

Such a pretty girl!!! I can understand why Noviardi would like to get this picture fixed!! (only kidding...)

One question...Is that the standard quality of webcam pictures???? (I don't have a webcam that's why I'm asking....)

I think that by 'blemishes' Noviardi meant noise, pixelation etc. since, as Dave pointed out already, the resolution is so bad it's a miracle there's is anything at all to work on ....

Anyway, I had a go at it and this is the best I could do .... hope it's enough ....

hi,

am new to this site. just found it yesterday and just registered today, but already spending a lot of time here.

thought i'd try my hand at this one. i started out with some simple sharpening and then noise reduction filters. i'm using paint shop pro 7.xx. after that it was a bit of smudging just to get some dark areas reduced. this was followed by some color enhancements, like more saturation, a plug-in that allows adjusting a single color (more red for the most part) and then some hand work with the clone tool, smudging tool and push tool. and somewhere in there i did some contrast work as well.

i didnt bother at all with the background or peripheral stuff, just the girl. she's the picture.

also did another one; one of the challenge pics. i posted the results in another thread, the newbie thread in one of the earlier forums.

nice site

K.
