Printed it out to see what it looked like...well nothing like on my monitor that's for sure..much lighter/paler...

Is there a program anywhere to help calibrate my TFT monitor. I can remember having something (other than adobe gamma) but i can't remember what it was...

You could try this http://www.easyrgb.com/index.html Go to Monitor Calibration.

Your last pic looks fine on my monitor. There's very little Cyan in the skin tone now. I would maybe punch up the yellow a tad but that's personal. Using direct flash is deadly as it can really blow out the face. Whenever possible try bounce flash. Also, if you want the skin tones to be darker like Flora's, pull down your RGB Curve a bit.

Cheers
Dave

Thanks dave..

ok last bit of tweaking complete (probably ruined it now.. ) and this (albeit a larger file/image ) is it, unless i've drastically messed up and someone tells me it's crap..

So from 35 year old picture, displayed under glass then scanned - modified (by all of us) to the attached...

I'll wait 'till tomorrow to send it ...

cheers...

(ps .. just off to check that calibration link dave )
