Sure, but I've read several reports of buggy software.

From its age I'd suspect it's USB 1.1, as well (just a guess, though). And there are few accessories for it.

If the bidding goes above $150, consider something like this.

Thanks Doug, I'll keep it in mind...if I were to scan a color negative with the Kodak scanner would it produce a image that I could print out on 16x20 paper and still have excellent quality?

You'd have to do some sharpening and spotting (dust will be the size of basketballs), but you'd have about 270ppi resolution at that print size, which is plenty for an excellent print.

are there any online calculators that figure out things like that? ppi dpi etc?
