Realistic looking tears

Well i've been trying to manipulate this pic i've got, to make realistic looking tears...btu i just can't seem to do it...i have teh teardrop brushes (TONS OF THEM) and i make something looking like a tear using burn tool, but it doesn't look like a REAL tear....so i was wondering
1) are there any already existing tutorials on this one?
2) if not can anyone make one, or at least explain in a few lines how to do it...?

Try painting them in black on their own layer and applying the following layer style settings:

• Drop Shadow: Opacity 14%, Angle 79º, Distance 11px, Spread 4%, Size 17px, Contour “Cone”
• Inner Shadow: Opacity 15%, Angle 79º, Distance 21px, Size 21px
• Inner Glow: Blend Mode Multiply, Opacity 23%, Color Black, Size 17px
• Bevel and Emboss: Depth 71%, Size 54px, Angle 79º, Highlight Mode Normal, Opacity 100%, Shadow Mode Lighten, Color White, Opacity 90%

It works better for single drops and at lower opacities.

1. Add a new layer
2. Paint tears in with black (I used the tear-shaped Shape tool preset)
3. Set blending mode to Screen
4. Use the above layer style settings
5. Lower opacity to taste (I used 48%)

This also works for sweat, raindrops, etc.
