here's another tip for paint shop pro users. after you make the sig, save it as a tube. this allows you to have it to hand without having to find it in your file system every time, and, it allows you to resize it quickly within the tube system for placing on various sized images.

Good Ydelle !

That image is just what I needed, will make a signature and if you like it it will be yours !! If there is time I would also make a brush. Tomorrow is a holiday in Argentina so I don't have to go to the office and can do what I like most ... work in my PC !!

Regards - Martha

Thumbs down

You don't have to make a signiture for me, but you are kind. Which one did you like? Oh, Did you mean cleaning it up? As you can see the first two I did the last two are fonts that I have used. Do you think it is a bad thing to keep changing my signiture all the time and if so I will have to do some editing on my pictures to put the new one in.
I even did a little tweeking of #one so if you were to clean it up wait till I send a new one OK.
You are a doll
What holiday is it for you?

Hi Ydelle !

It was not properly put, what I meant was precisely that, clean it up.

Of the ones you made I also like #1. What I would do is select it, convert it to path and with the pen tool soften the "jaggy" edges and lines.
That is what I did with mine, since I had no way to scan it I just drew it on the screen with the mouse and then did what I explain above. I attach a sample.

We have a system here in Argentina that certain holidays that occur during the week are moved to the next nearest Monday (supposes to encourage tourism within the country) in this case it is October 12th which I believe is Cristopher Columbus' birthday or something like that. It is called Day of the Race (for all the people from different origins that populate our country).

Back to the signature, it is best (IMO) if you find one you feel comfortable with and then use it in all your works. I am not sure it is good to change it often though.

Another interesting method is THIS a tutorial by Doug Nelson which is excellent about Watermarking photos.

Well Ydelle, keep us posted about your progress with the signature

Regards - Martha

I am not very good with the pen tool so if your offer still stands I would be honored to have you fix it up and e-mail it to me (better resolution)
We had Columbus day today also. He dicovered America by mistake.

Talking Hope you like it !!

Well Ydelle I am including a jpg as a sample. I saved the original in various types of format. tif, psd, gif and jpg. they are all zipped and now the thing is how do you want to receive it. I can e-mail it to an address you could give me. If you have a yahoo account I can make it available in my portfolio for you to download. PM me with your choice.

Hope you like the result

regards Martha-

P.S.: Forgot to mention in the .zip I include a brush with the same image so you can use it in different sizes and colours.
