| | Missing Details: Little Help! I was retouching this Picture, and I was thinking to replace the body, but the problem for me it's the mouth, since the person has died, I didn't dare to use another person mouth, and for reconstruction of the mouth I don't have the knowledge yet... Can you help me with the mouth? |

| | I remember this face from another thread here. There were various reconstructions of the mouth at that time. Were you the one to start that thread?
You're willing to replace the body, but not the mouth?
P.S.: I found the thread. |

| | | I personally think that with a little careful repair of the lips there is sufficient information to copy the left hand side of the lips and flip them horizontally to complete the mouth. But in saying that, I think the shadow over the left lip and the extended highlight on the cheek may look a bit odd without a bit more balance. |

| | :) Yeah... I did my attempt, and I was thinking on replace the body, but I need to reconstructe the mouth instead of replacing it, I'd been doing some efforts, but nothing that looks natural, that's why I brought the Pic again, cause it's for my best friend; his sister died in a car accident... |

| | | Hi Arcadhia
You seem to have got the eyes lined up nicely now and you have done a great job on the skin.
If you remember in the last thread I posted a question about seeing teeth in the picture. (And I still see them here)
What do you think?
One thing that concerns me with your new post is the hair. I think it may have been better to get a good mask to start with rather than leave it till last.

Have a look at the original thread http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11288
This picture was originally split right across the mouth.
Arcadhia will probably know best if he knew her.
So it looks like I was wrong.

| | | ??? I don't know her, Sorry... is my best friend's sister, and as far as I know, this it's a School Picture, so 'I don't think' that she was smiling... Great job with the Lips!...
Masks? for the hair? I think I'm just clone/healing brush photoshoper but I'd made a lot of works like that |

| | | arcadhia,
maybe your friend has more pictures of his sister, so you could show us how her lips should look like?
thought that those lips still look vary unnatural, so i decided to add some light and slightly curve the line between them. i like it bit more now... |

| | | Hey arcadhia,
Since this is a low-res image without any pretentions to preserve textures, I thought "why not just airbrush in the lips?". So I did. My version is attached with this post. In the haste of doing it, she kind of ended up with a slightly morose look. Investing additional time into the project would render it more realistic.
