Submit for Chanllenge

People bring me their Pictures, some of them are fixed in 2 hours average, some of them present a Challenge, I've never submitted a Photo for a Challenge, this picture bug me! they used an old technique for retouching it [putting oil paint over the picture] So, can you tell me what we/I can do for this picture? I just came here when the challenge is good... Thanks!

Which picture are you looking for help with? Are these your photos, or do they belong to clients?

Sorry for the delay

The owners brought me the Pictures and for the Copyrights they agreed to let the picture be submitted for Challenge...
The Picture that looks creepy, it goes beyond my skills, the other is an example that I'm able to retouch on my own... as I said: I came here when the challenge posed is good...
Please submit the picture for a Challenge Mr Doug

I've done a few of these. If there is a Retoucher's hell........
A textured canvas, a blurry b/w photo (yeah, I know - greyscale), over-painted by a not-very-gifted artist, hung on the wall (near the open stove) for fifty years, dragged along the floor face down (it seems), bent, folded and, of course, add a little mould and water damage.
I've never been able to get one of these restorations into my personal ball-park, although the customer is satisfied.
The last time I did one of these I was half way through and decided to finish up the next day. Forgot to advise my wife, so she thought it was finished. When I arrived home from work she had printed it out, received (and spent ) the money and said that they were very pleased and wanted me to do some more!

I like the one of the little girl for a Challenge. If you're positive we have permission from both the photographer and either the little girl or her parents, go ahead and email me a medium-resolution JPG (300kb or so, medium to high compression). dnelson at retouchpro.com

Talking The Story behind the picture...

Yes you have the permission [and please ] to submit the Picture for a Challenge...
This Picture was brought to me from Central America, for a acquaitance, She's his Mother, and the Picture was thrown out to the floor for his StepMother and footstepped for Her in an act or jelousy... His father never defended the incident and now it's has a high sentimental value for the Sons... I don't know how they reached me, but when the expectation for the result is so valuable, I turn my face to this forum, but I'm a good representative of the RetouchPro Community...

Not good enough to enter a challenge but thought I'd play a little anyway.
