Lens Flare Reflection help

I'd love to see how you pros handle this situation. Good shot gone bad. I just can't get up to do a heavy clone, heal etc. Any easier way?

Swampy,

Exactly what is it that you want us to respond to? The reflection?

Ok Ken,

I'd like to know how to do that. I already know that my way would not have had an equivalent result.

Swampy, I had a quick go at it. It's not perfect but I think it does demonstrate that cloning is possible and, probably, the only way to go here. Having said that I am sure someone will come up with some ingeniously, simple method!

Sincerely Syd

I gave it a try as well

Clone a little and copy parts of the left eye to the right...

I did change the tone because my bad eyes could not see good enough when it was dark

Hi Dee Dee.

No easy fix to these. I repaired His right eye (Our left) and then copied the pupil to his left eye.

Flora gave a good method to repair these here

Hope this helps.

Okay.. I've had a little time to work on this, but it's still not the kind of thing I enjoy doing. I have a difficult time getting the color and texture to match even using the healing tools. Guess it's just something I'll have to practice more.

Hi Dee Dee.

Great job. The texture looks perfect.
The only thing is the ‘flipped’ pupil has put the catchlight in the wrong place.
He looks cross-eyed. The pupil does not need ‘flipping’ just copy and paste.

Ken
