I used selective color for an overall move.

Hi

I got good results using the channel mixer, then adjusted saturation with Hue/Saturation, and a final tweak of color using Selective color.

As usual, whenever I come across a useful technique, I write it up as a detailed PDF for future reference. It would make a good turorial but it is alot of work converting the original document to that form. Too bad that I cannot just upload the PDF to the tutorial section and use that as the tutorial. Anyway, if you want the detailed steps, I will emai it to you. It's a little over 900k.

Send me an email if you would like a copy. leuallenATmchsi.com. Replace 'AT' with '@'

Syd,

Nice job!

Could you please post in more detail how you got the skin so golden brown - tanned like?

Thanks

Hi,

Don't know if this adds anything to the mix but I:

Ctrl + Alt + ~ to select lighter areas
Ctrl J to put it to it's own layer with blend mode set to Multiply
Layer > Flatten Image
Ctrl J to duplicate layer set blend mode to Screen with low opacity

Could also Flatten again and set that layer to Mulitply with low opacity to bring down the brightness. The color is a bit off now after "squashing" the file a couple of times for the post.
