Old Picture

I think I've seen this photo before. At any rate a nice job on the colorization. I ran neat image on it and then sharpened it up using the high pass filter and overlay blending mode. That seems to help at times.

What a good memory, yes I posted it awhile back, but I just got around to working on it last week. LOL.

I too have neat image and have yet to run it on the pic, but I will. Did you use any custom settings in NI? or just Auto? I usually use Auto only because I'm not really sure how to play around with the sliders and where to make adjustments...

Neat Image

Well I just used the default settings. It seems somewhat paradoxical to run Neat image on a slightly blurred image and then sharpen it, but every once in a while it works out ok for me.

But you did a really nice job on the photo.

On the whole I think you have done a great job with the colourization, one thing I did notice though, in the attachment at least, is the predominence of green... of same hue and saturation especially with the car and the grass... I think maybe a subtle difference here is a good idea and the little girl's jacket has a slight green cast to it too when I seem to get the impression that it is supposed to be white... just my thoughts...
