Increased contrast, sharpened, and added a slight glow to the skin to enhance shape of face.

Seemed to be a green color cast so I correct that then put an "S" curve on the color correction

Sorry, I don't have a place set up to park your picture. Let me know if you would like for me to delete it from my post.

Cropped it so that it falls into the rule of thirds. Lightened her eyes and dodged the highlights in her hair and burned the low lights. Duplicated the layer, desaturated it quite a bit and erased the little girl so the more saturated bottom layer showed through. Merged the layers then duplicated it again, gaussian blurred it by 25% (?) then set the blend mode to dodge. Merged all layers again. On the second one I resaturated the second last layer by about 15% and then erased the grassy bits. Then I just had to do the B&W thing (I love B&W and this photo is just perfect for it!). Took my second option, desaturated it and the adjusted the shadows, midtones and highlights. Then sharpened it a tad.

Hi there

Just a little sharpening of the eyes and lips and color correction. Then a motion blur filter

This would be a good one for fairy dust and pixies

Used the grey eye-dropper in levels to correct the color. Took it into Lab and did two passes of the Unsharp Mask on the Lightness Channel. First: Radius 2 and Amount 60. Second: Radius 60 and Amount 20. Upped the saturation by steepening the a and b curves and set the white point at Brightness 95. Finally I added a default Magenta Photo Filter to bring out the rosiness in her cheeks. I toned that layer down to between 30 and 40%.
Sincerely Syd

1. Removed a bit of yellow cast by using Colour Balance (ctrl+b)
Added a bit of red and blue

2. Removed cyan/green on skin
With the Brush Tool set on Mode:Colour, opacity 20%
Sampled good skin colour by holding down alt and choosing with eye
dropper, then brushed over discoloured area of skin

3. Smoothed skin a little bit, with clone brush on opacity 20%, sampling (ctrl)
frequently.

4. Selected eyes, including whites with lasso, feathered 3 (right click to feather)
and curved them up (ctrl+m), then added a lil brightness/contrast.

5. Followed basicallly this tutorial
http://retouchpro.com/tutorials/?m=show&id=61
Select 'moons' of eyes, feather, crtl+j to copy them to a new layer, and change blend mode to screen, (or which ever mode u prefer)

Applied Unsharp Mask, from filter menu to entire image
Amount:20 Radius:3.2 Threshold:0

subtle changes, but i like it

Hi,

great picture and an incredibly sweet little girl!!!

I cropped the image even more drastically than Ziaphra,

corrected it for colour and contrast...

made a second version creating a soft vignette using the colour of the ribbon in the little girl's hair ..
