Remove unwanted objects

I've already started to remove the woman in the background.
But I have no idea how to remove the guy (face in girl's hair).
Does anyone have a good technique/tutorial for this?

And yes I know still have to remove the bike :-)

Hi SMcLean.

The hair is easy. Just clone from the area above.
Now what are you going to do with the carrier bag?

Ken.

Hi there

Maybe I don't understand what you are trying to do. But if it is the face in the hair can't you just do a little cloning of hair in another area? The wind is blowing it and I don't think anyone could tell.

Hey Butch,

nice work.
Can you tell me which rocks you used to replace the bike. Especially the 2 rows below?

I you say to clone the hair, the hair part just above it?

thnx

Steve

For the hair...yes I cloned from above then I reduced the brush size and did a few smaller clones to make sure I did not repeat a pattern.

For the rocks I copied the rocks down the upper left side then turned the copy off and cloned the hole in the wall and but it above the copied rocks... hope that makes since.

For the bottom I copied a small area next to the bag... then duplicated it a few times and filled out to the right... then attached a mask to get them to fit... I did need to blend a little on a blank layer with the clone. Then I copied a crack down and fit where it looked right.

If you have another picture of the girl where you can see the arms...or take another picture framed the same way you should be able to clone out the bag... if the picture is important.

Thnx , I will give it a try myself now.
Unfortunately I don't have another picture showing her arm. The bag is covering it as well.
But it's not that important, just wanted to play around abit. Just trying to improve my skills. You have been a great help.

I have another question though concerning colour profile.
I'm about to print my pictures (by professional lab) and I'm not sure which colour profile to use.
When I change my picture profile to aRGB (1998), it looks more colourful on my screen but will it also result in better prints than sRGB?

cheers

Just my opinion but if I was sending to a printer I would keep it sRGB. But the best is to ask

Hi,

one question ...... why stop at the guy's face between the girl's hair ... and leave his hand and trousers between the girl's arm and back ? ...

.... and the plastic bag is a real eyesore!!! ...
