Help - reflections in a polished surface.

The polished surface on this cabinet is reflecting the backing paper - bottom right. This is quite subtle and needs an equally subtle solution. I have tried burning, blending, gradients with levels but nothing has been ideal. Can anyone help???

Sorted this by selecting the area and simply adjusting colours within the selective colour pallet. Its easy once you get the right tool.

use the curves with a mask.

with the curves. darken the rgb, encrease the contrast...add red.
