Newbie Help Needed: How do I ?

Hello I'm new here and very new to photoshop. I have been a lurker up till now but I need some help. It really a silly question I'm sure it's simple but I just can't seem to figure it out.

OK this is embarassing, umm how do you insert an image into a file. I have a thank card I would like to have printed. Vistaprint supplies a template with bleed lines but I can't figure out how to insert the image into it. Please explain how to place it into the template without distorting the image.

Re: Newbie Help Needed: How do I ?

Use file->Open and open the second file and either drag the thumbnail (on the layers palette) to the other image or choose Select->All followed by Edit->copy then change window to other file via the bottom of the Window Menu and then choose Edit->Paste
