Another old photo

Hi

This photo is a photo of my grandpa´s mother she is born in 1856 and she is maybe 25 on the photo it is the only copy of the photo the original is gone in a fire. That I wonder is if it is possible to reduce the noise in her face
Hope someone can help me with the technique

//Chris

Re: Another old photo

Chris, if you have Photoshop, any of the following will zap the noise:
1. Filter>Noise> Despeckle
2. Filter>Noise> Dust & Scratches set to 1
3. Filter> Noise> Reduce Noise; Preserve Detail 3% Strength 8 No Sharpen
4. Almost any Noise Filter Plugin like Noiseware or Noise Ninja
Regards, Murray
