| Extending a subject that got cut off (Duplicate Thread) Hi, I posted this at restoration, but maybe it's more of an image problem that I'm trying to solve. Here goes: I've got a subject on each side of the photo that got partially cut off. My photo is posted at "how to post an image & extending a subject that got cut off" under restoration. The system wouldn't let me post it here twice. Don't anyone laugh. The addition was done quickly just to see what was possible. I realize I'll have to grab some of the background as well. I'm using Photoshop CS, not CS2, so I know I don't have some of the newer tools. I used the magnetic lasso and put the selection on a new layer then flipped it. It actually worked a lot better than I had anticipated. I thought the girl on the right would be easier, but her arm looks like it may be a problem because of the angle. I don't know if flipping will do the trick. There's really not that much of her that needs to be added. My main concerns are what tools to use to get the obvious "seam" out, especially along the face on the left. I don't want her to look too creepy or manufactured. Thanks in advance. Ramona |

| Re: Extending a subject that got cut off Ramona's image is here in another thread. (Ramona, you can upload your photo twice -- but you have to give it a different name or the system won't take it.) http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/142136-post3.html |
