Re: Help me remove this object

OK, it's now working.
I saved the pic in CMYK which was the problem.
After resaving in RGB fixed the upload problem.

Re: Help me remove this object

did a 5 min fix to sort of guide you.

-remember the wood that you clone from the floor must match the sahrpness and perspective of that area. watch out for obvious clone marks such as the knots in the wood.

-fixing the side of the fish tank or whatever that thing is will be tough since you have no information in the photo to source from, so you will have to get creative with that area. i just copied the bottom of it and flipped it onto the side, but its also lo-rez so it looks like it works, but prob not on the hi-rez.

-when you replace the wall, try to match the color tone as it seems to get darker on its way down the wall.

hope this helps.

*Edit, you can draw lines of perspecctive to help you also.

Re: Help me remove this object

Thank you very much KR1156,
As you said, I am using perspective to retouch the walls and am getting a pretty good result.
but about the floor I'm having a tough time getting the sharpness and the perspective right. will you please show me from which part you copy the floor and placed it.

Thanks again.

Re: Help me remove this object

i would try using the floor from the bottom left side of the pic, just remember to scale it down to fit the perspective, then do a little free transforming to fix the angle. plus the color on the floor seems to be a good starting point from that area too.
