| | How to fix sweat on shirt Hi all, The groom in this picture has a huge sweat stain on his shirt and I have been asked if it is possible to remove this so that it appears the same colour as the rest of the shirt. Ive tried Hue and Saturation and Curves options but am unable to get it even close to right. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated
Thanks , Wayne |

| | | Re: How to fix sweat on shirt I just cloned out the sweat on a new layer then burned in the lighter pattern. This was real quick, if you want to do it correctly try creating a stripe pattern with the Halftone Pattern filter, using the darkest color of the shirt for the foreground and the lightest for the background. Play around with the size and contrast and warp the selected area to make it have some shape. I sometimes make a general selection around the area I want to distort and use Liquify to make some wrinkles and puckers.
This takes a lot of practice and patience, good luck. |

I masked the stain, found another shirt with simular texture and blended them together. Then added 2 hue/saturation adj. layers, one to desaturate the other one to color the shirt.

| | | Re: How to fix sweat on shirt Quick selection of the shirt, Desaturated on the yellows in the area of the stain. Merged down then used PS's color replacement tool to replace the resulting gray with white. Mask as needed. |

Saby, Would you mind explaining the above in a little more detail please, I have tried all of the suggested methods and had a perfect result with yours, unfortunately because I dont quite understand all the steps, i fiddled around with things until it worked but now am unable to repeat it. Im using CS2 and/or CS3, Thanks. |
