Any tutorials for this...?

Attached are 3 photos of my girlfriends' dog (deceased...the dog, that is). I would like to find 2 fairly straightforward tutorials to:
1. Make the colors in the full face photo match the left and right profiles and
2. Blend the 3 photos so that they form a collage where one photo fades into
the other.
I hope that I explained this correctly. I would really like to know how these things are done. Thank you, everybody. I love this site.

Re: Any tutorials for this...?

This was done using Match Color under the Image menu. Still needs to be refined but you can see the color is closer. You can also use curves and levels with the red channel active to change the color. To do the other image request go to Windows and open the animation palette. I believe that your images need to be in the GIF format. If you have PS you can go to the help menu for details on animation. I have done a couple of animations and it is not difficult.

Re: Any tutorials for this...?

Thanks for your quick response. I am sorry that I wasn't too clear on the second part. I'm not trying for animation...just a single picture with all three of the photos somewhat fading one into the other (the full-face shot centered with the other 2 on either side). I will be trying my luck with match color and using the blue channel. Thanks again.

This may be a little closer to what you wanted. The background can be any color, pattern, texture that you might like. The pets can be moved closer together or moved farther apart. Tried to get the red tone in the center dog to match the others. The blue sky can be lightened if that is what you want.

Re: Any tutorials for this...?

Something Like this...

Would be easier with high res good quality pictures that had not already been vignetted.

Re: Any tutorials for this...?

dc ~ I think the puzzle effect is very cool. Thank you for all of your hard work and help. Christine, that is just the effect I am looking for....well, actually you made the effect I was looking for better. Thank you. I would have posted the original, higher res photos but have no idea how to do it with the file size restrictions. If you have any hints on how to do that, I would be glad for the help. At my age, if I don't learn at least one new thing each day, I've wasted a day that I shouldn't have. Thanks.
