hi ,
now it would have been nice the art instructor gave you a more definitive reason what he liked or disliked.... smile....
your project is very interesting and provocative.. I like it overall...
now my self I am novice but what I notice
1. like previous mentioned the eyes do not seem natural.. and on this project I would think that important part... they look slightly too large...
2. another thing i noticed in both pictures.. the eye looks like it a cut and paste job!
a. the eyelids do not appear to be part of the picture it self.... to me that was obvious... yo can easily tell where the orginal eyelid ends and the eyelid that part of cut out eye starts
b. also the eyelashes between the main picture and the cutout do not match... looks like eyelashes from one picture and put on another... you want them to be natuarl looking I would think
when you cut the eye originally you left in part of the eyelids and lashes and i the first picture looks like you left part of the eyebrow and alittle of thewhite of the eye all that to me noticable... what i think I would do is recut the eye where you only have just the iris itself!! and nothing else then go in and resize... probably use your magnetic lasso or just the regular lasso and then when you go an past it in you can then use your resize/transform feature to size the eyball properly.. and then a very slight blur around the edge of the cutout to help make it blend in.
