Interpol

I'm sure by now most of you have seen this picture:

http://msnbcmedia2.msn.com/j/msnbc/C...0a.hmedium.jpg

Have you wondered how the Interpol brought back the face of this individual?

It looks like it was the good old Liquify in Photoshop. Give it a try...

Some background: pictures of this individual molesting children, have been uploaded to the net. While the faces of the children were clearly visible and recognizable, his was "scrambled". The Interpol has launched a world-wide appeal to anyone that might know this person.

Re: Interpol

i've tried liquify and the twirl filter and it's not that easy to duplicate, i take my hat off to the person who was able to make the image on the left...

Re: Interpol

I tried the twirl feature also on the liquid filter. From experimenting on another picture where I first used the twirl feather, the reverse works like a charm provided you do not move the cursor or change the bursh size. I would therefore imagine that finding the exact center and bursh size took some experimenting. Just my thoughts.

Re: Interpol

I'm glad this thread was started, when I saw that image on the news it started me wondering how they did it. I've been experimenting but haven't achieved a good result as yet.
