I design avatars(ie for chatrooms and webpages)

I use Photo Impact and Paint Shop Pro

my question does anyone know how to turn blonde hair to brown hair

I am usually pretty good at it but this shade of blonde is making it hard to work with...

when i use brown tones it makes the hair gray or red


help please

Grab the color you want it to be, paint it on on a new layer and set that layer to multiply. Usually does the trick.

Alternatively select the hair and run Hue/Saturation on an adjustment layer. Fiddle with the sliders till you get the hair color you want, should be do-able.

Here's a quick fix: paint on new layer, multiply that, bit of D&B, then Hue and Sat to make it look browner.

Deffo needs some proper masking but this took all of 1 minute....
