Hello the problem is that i retouced with my skills a image and i wanna change the picture smaller (i mean if i open the jpg its like half or smaller than 19inch monitor screen). So this i am doing with photoshop cs2 featur called change image soze i choose pixels and change them like 640x800 to get the effect. And what happens is that the image will loos hes sharpness and like eyes what i retouched will loose their effect and will go foggy . If anyone knows a method how to make picture smaller without loosing the sharpness feel free to post it thnx !

un-check the resample box in the image size menu

yes the resulation is quit same but i men if i reject the resample box the image füsicaly wont go smaller the resulation changes but the image size is same i dont mean the size in kbs i mean the size on screen when i opne it lol mybe i was confusing in first post lolz sorry for my bad english i belive i didnt sayed it good enuf

Double click the hand to make the picture fit on the screen
double click magnify glass to get full size
Ctrl>+ to increase magnifacation
Ctrl>- to decrease magnification

Click magnify glass then click on picture where you want it larger
Click magnify glass hold down Alt key click on picture to make smaller

Make sure you select "Resample Image" and the drop down has "Bicupic Sharper (best for reduction)" selected.

Having said that, the fact is that every time you resize an image you always lose something.

This settings just makes it slightly less obvious by sharpening the image while resizing it.

thnx for replaying but actually i wanted to save the image smaller in jpg format like frank lopes told its fine for me and works good thnx everyone for replaying be c00l
