Question Sunlight bleaches man . . . what to do?

Here's another exposure problem (never mind the blurred arms - was the guy about to take off?). This time it's a ray of sun illuminating the center of the man on the right. Any guidance on ameliorating this "special effect"?

Cheers,

Will

Reshoot?

There's no data in the image for the blown-out areas, so the only post-production solutions are to draw the face from scratch or replace it from another shot. If the image was shot in RAW, try another conversion with the exposure reduced; that might permit salvaging some of the face.

Thanks. I think it's reshoot. I'll see them again soon in the same place. And I'll get a RAW image and keep them both out of the sun.
