Help! I am out of my league!

G'day people,

Obviously I am new here. Just started getting into photo restoration as a hobby. Anyway I have an image which has a lot of issues. Mostly I can fix them, except for the main one (of course) which is as shown in attachment. Anyone able to point in the right direction to correct this?

Hi,

Not knowing what the image was made it a little difficult to work on. Also, focus seems to be an issue so I just fiddled with it to get the cyan color out. Used, healing brush (regular and replace mode), clone tool, selective color, Hue sat, color range, color balance, and did a little painting. At best, the picture is improved.

Wow, good results guys. The full picture is much larger - it is a 30 year old photo of my brother motorbike racing - most of the pic is heavily speckled and has that blue stuff all over it. Now I know it can be done I'll put a bit more effort into it! Thanks again.
