After working hour or two I ended up with result like this. I used mistermonday's method which worked like a charm. Photo also needed a bit touch of cloning and healing but I'm happy with the result. Thanks for the advice.

I also liked how Flora got my photo smoothed out. Not too blurry but enough to remove unneccessary particles. Also, nice try Chillin. Not bad at all...

This is some cloning and color correction with a brush set to color mode

Narvi, you've done an excellent job! Nailed the hair, skin, & lips perfectly. No trace of the damaged areas either. Your hours of effort were well spent.
