Background

Is there an easy way to make backgrounds like this? Is there a filter or brush type I should be using? Thanks

Re: Background

Taking this one step further...if I have the background design I like...is there an easy way to change the colors (if colors are on different layers I can do it, but what if it is already combined?) In the above example what if I wanted the yellow to be royal blue and the green to be white? I tried selecting color and pulling that color to a separate layer and then do an inverse on the selection for another layer, but it just ain't the same. Regardless, the first request (initial creation) is more important than this.

Re: Background

skydog,
I used select/color range to select the yellow and filled it with blue and just a white layer behind the blue layer.

Re: Background

Obsidian dawn has a bunch of cool brushes that you can download for free, and there are instructions on how to load them if you need help with that also.

Re: Background

Maybe these are what Chris thought of:

I've never used the Image Wash filters but I've admired them for a while. They seem to have been prepared with a lot of care, like the company's visual identity.
