Maybe these links will help for your next Attachments:

Attaching Files or Images to Threads or Posts

Size and quality for Attached Images!!

After you post your less than 100K version, you could also post a link to the site that is hosting a larger version using one of these host options or one of your own:
ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) or pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) or photobucket.com (1 Meg max free,... 5 Meg PRO)-- .

Re: Double chin problem!

Thanks, OB

I knew I had to get it down to 100 kb, so I cropped it and lowered the JPG quality to 6. Still too big... 116 kb. So I resized and resampled and got it down to 98 kb and attached. When it came in as an attachment, it said it was 48 kb! I guess I'm working too hard. I know what it says the file size is in Image Size isn't always real, but I was surprised it was so off.

Thanks for the link. I'll read it again the next time I try to post an image.

It's funny, but I read a tutorial on fixing sagging chins about an hour before I ran across this thread. In the tute, the model's head was in profile, but in this pic it was straight on, so I wasn't sure the Pinch would work. I thought I'd give it a shot. I was surprised it worked as well as it did! I didn't do any other retouching. It was just the low res shot I dragged off the 1st post.

Re: Double chin problem!

You are welcome , I use CS3 Photoshop.
It you are a part time or full time student, you can get the Student Edition for about $200.00.
Download load CS4 at the Adobe site to see if you like it. They let you try it for 30 days.

I also have Paint Shop Pro Photo, but I prefer Photoshop.
That price is a good deal.

Re: Double chin problem!

I guess I'm getting old.
I don't mind a little bit of a double chin.
