| Working on a pic with lots of shadowing and light. I'm attaching 2 here. The biggest problem I'm having is making the person on the right blend in the picture better, AND the shadow on the right side of his face needs to be enhanced or made so it matches the lighting. I added a Lens Flare effect to one of them to try to make up for it, but I don't think it is convincing enough. I need help please! (T.T) Last edited by mandude1; 11-11-2008 at 12:24 PM. |

| Re: Shadow casting problem! Try some dodge and burn on a 50% gray layer (set to Overlay). Use a very low opacity brush and repaint areas to build up density. Paint black for shadow areas and White for highlights. I hear the new D&B tool is wonderful in CS4. The D&B finally works like it should. |
