| Hi team, I'm fairly advanced with photoshop, but don't know were to start with this photo. My friend that i'm doing it for want more detail in the face, whats the best way for this? Also is there a quick way of removing all the nasty marks? Thanks for your assistance. |

| Re: Nasty photo, help required please As far as I know there is no quick way to fix it. It can be improved. For starters it would be nice if you could get a scan in color and then carefully select the channel that has the most information. A fairly high resolution scan of around 600-800 dpi would give you some slack for correction. After that you have to carefully save what you can and remove scratches via various softening filters and then draw in various details. Whatever the fix is not easy. |
