retouching background?

Hey there,

A while back I had done a shoot with 2 models, and for some reason at the time I decided to use a perspex sheet as the paper roll was fairly new... Anyway, I have left myself with a problem to edit several full length shots.

My knowledge of photoshop is still limited, I have tried to heal or soft brush on a separate layer but not getting the right effect. Could someone please suggest some effective ways to overcome the edge of the perspex to blend with the background??

It is easy to make a new background

Duplicate the background

Make a magic wand selection...add mask to the top layer...mask out floor.

Add a couple of layers below... pick dark color and fill... pick light color...get a big brush and lighten where needed...Or us a gradient up to you.

Real quickie job (maybe 5 minutes) just using the Healing Brush and Patch tool.. A much better job could be done on the higher resolution.
Using D&B on the higher resolution would far superior and be a whole bunch better!... but might take a bit longer to do.

You have the Photography skills down pat... now tis time to practice cubed the art of retouching and soon it will be as easy as pushing the shutter button!
