Would like thoughts on improving this picture

Would like some thoughts on improving this picture. I myself would like a more softer look. This is what I have done so far
Levels correction
de-noise
doge and burn
curves adjustment
Hugh and saturation adjustment
sharpen with high pass

I would be tempted to crop to head and shoulders, or a bit lower. Remove the green chair and extend the curtain across the entire background. Maybe even replace the background.

A second idea would be to keep it as is but replace the background. It's a nice pose, but an outdoor shot may be more appealing.

Haven't done the cropping yet. She likes this pose cause it shows her pregnant belly. So cropping it down to just her head and shoulders would look nice but cant do. I dint like the green chair there either. Finding a good outdoor background to match the lighting will take some time. Thinking given the chair she is on a nice garden back ground maybe? Can you post a couple quick version of what you are seeing?

I had not given enough thought to the pregnancy. With that in mind, I actually like a little b&w effects, sometimes with just a little color. Seems to tone things down and create a romantic mood.

Here is an example, nothing fancy or perfect. Just a quick take to give you some hints.
