Camera Raw to JPEG conversion

I have taken a whole bunch of photos using camera raw. I would like to maintain a "camera raw" set of files but I would also like a set of "lo-res-72dpi" set of the same images for uploading to the web or to share with friends online. What is the best to do this in Adobe CS3??? Are there available "Photoshop CRW to JPG" actions" I can download from a site that do this exact thing? Thanks.

Re: Camera Raw to JPEG conversion

Several ways to do this.

In PS - File/Scripts/Image Processor - set the options.

In Bridge - open the images in ACR, select all, save images - set the options.

Re: Camera Raw to JPEG conversion

XXXmen, you can't change RAW to jpegs, they will always be raw and on your computer unless youdelete them or change them to adobes digital negative format.
So all you need to do is open the raw in photoshop and save as jpeg. Make and action out of that. Now make a droplet for your descktop and drop all of your raw files on the droplet. Now go for coffee. You come back and all your raw files are safely in thier folder and you have a new folder full of jpegs. Google create action photoshop and then create droplet photoshop. Should be easy to find videos on these topics.

Re: Camera Raw to JPEG conversion

There is a free utility program I've used that extracts the jpegs from the raw file, it's at (I promise this is not spam) -
http://www.rawworkflow.com/instant-j...om-raw-utility

This is not a Photoshop plug-in, it's a content menu program. You open your file browser, choose the raw files, and right click. One of the options is called Instant JPEG From Raw (on a Mac you won't see it on the main list of options, you have to select More to get to a secondary listing). There will be a few options there as to file size output, but not many. It works very fast and puts the jpegs into a separate folder inside the one you opened. It's available for both PC and Mac.

Duh. I just noticed that I recommended the same link as an earlier post, but it's not spam, really. You do have to sign in and give your email address, but I did it and I'm not being hounded. It's a sweet little program recommended by a friend of mine.

Crazyfly,
Not a problem at all, I hate spam too.
I see you're from Omaha, do you know or know of Jun Kaneko? I photographed him a few years ago, cool guy.
