Manipulation. Turn people into fruit. HEELP

Hey people.

Im doin my bachelor in graphic design and Ive run into a problem. Im doin my campain and koncept .. And it revolves around health, fruit and stuff like that.

Anywho.. My plan is to take some portraits of some urban people, and then turn their skin and heads into fruit.

For ex.. Imagine a person in the street.. and instead of his normal head.. its a pineapple and yellow hands.

I havent figured out if the mouth, nose and eyes are visible. BUT.. my big problem is how to make it "real"

I hope my link works.. but this was my idea.. Is there anyone that can help me?

The cauliflower most likely involved one or more Displacement Maps. The pepper looks like a simple composite. If you want to learn more about this type of work, visit http://www.worth1000.com

Thx guys!.. ill check it out.. and read up on the displacement maps..

Ive been looking for seveal tutorial sites.. but you know.. you ALWAYS miss the one that really counts!
