| Re: Text on a wine glass Create your text layer Apply a bevel effect (inner bevel) lower fill - I lowered mine to 16%Duplicate the text and turn off the original text layer (backup layer if you want to change anything) Apply a slight warp to the duplicated text to give it a slight curve to match the glass |

| Re: Text on a wine glass Must be a carry over from my newspaper days... I would put the Lady's name first so her name is above her picture and his above his picture.... unless it is really important to you that the man be named first My quickie |

| Re: Text on a wine glass Good job T Paul. Just thought I would throw and additional thought in the pot. If you are using PSCS4, you can convert the text layer to a smart object, and then apply the warp to the text. Doing it this way, still keeps the text as live text, and can be updated as needed. | Re: Text on a wine glass If you have Illustrator, you can mock up a quick 3D model of the wine glass and wrap a symbol of the text around it, then copy that as a smart object to Photoshop. It makes it so you don't have to guess as to the curvature of the glass. I blended it with linear light and gave it a slight indented bevel. Cheers, Michael |
