How to create A Batch watermark in Adobe CS3

I have over 100 photos that I need to add my simple text. Can someone explain to me how this should be done ? Is there a link or simple way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Re: How to create A Batch watermark in Adobe CS3

Are you on a Mac or PC?

Where I used to work we had a library of thousands of images that we needed watermarked and resized to create three different files. To do this I created a script and a base psd with the watermark layer in it. It processed the files at a rate of approximately 1/second, saving 3 different versions of the file.

I used AppleScript due to my familiarity with the language and it's ability to interact with the Mac OS and Photoshop. The advantage of a script over actions is that it can adjust to the changes in image size and resolution for placement of the watermark, and if it is a text layer then you could change the text to include the file name.

If you are not on a Mac or know javascript then you should be able to accomplish the same thing with that language as well.
