Re: i will like to know how to do this effect plea Just off the cuff assumptions, mind you, but it appears to be HDR with some desaturation, and a second image over-laid to provide the "rain" streaks. Link to a sampling/tutorial of HDR processing: http://www.picturecorrect.com/tips/c...dr-processing/ http://www.secondpicture.com/tutoria..._tutorial.html Hope that gets you started on the right path...

Re: i will like to know how to do this effect plea Another way to get started in that direction is just to open a Hue/saturation adjustment layer....set the layer mode to overlay... then reduce the saturation slider Butch

Re: i will like to know how to do this effect plea Its always the same problem.... What kind of effect do you mean? If you can define a effect, it would be easier to help you. Most of the people always ask "How a effect was done". Then people post some words and tutorials and at the end nobody got this effect. The key is to find out what are the characteristic of a effect. lg Calvin

Re: i will like to know how to do this effect plea Quick and dirty. Make a channel mixer adjustment layer, at the bottom of the window that pops up check monochrome, and play with sliders to create some contrast(move the reds left, and the blues right) then turn this layer to Soft light, or play with different layer blending modes to see what fits best to your pic. If you want it more desaturated, create another channel mixer layer set to monochrome, put it between you first Channel mixer and your picture, leave it on normal mode, but turn the opacity down till your happy with the results. at the top, create a 50%gray layer, set it to soft light or hard light, and do some dodging at around 10% on the highlights and burning on the shadows, to give the image more depth and roundness. to take it over board, a little goes a long way. Lastly, duplicate your picture layer, put it on top of the layer stack, apply filter/other/highpass(play around with this for best result) and set this layer to overlay, or once again play around with layer blending modes and opacity for best results for your pic.
