Re: skin - car seat marks - how to get id done fas selected the area within the circle on the right side copied to a new layer Gaussian blur 2.7 then used a plug in from Imagenomic called grain surgery sampled grain from the original photo and then matched grain on the new layer. Took about 1 minute. If you dont have that plug in just use the add noise filter set at 1.9 to 2.0. first photo is with add noise filter.

Re: skin - car seat marks - how to get id done fas Have used a very small healing brush finishing off with a low setting for noise reduction (Imagenomic) Smurf

Re: skin - car seat marks - how to get id done fas unimatrix001 thanks for your quick help. as the photos are for web a max 600x494 I want to avoid hours of dodge and burn... this will do the trick. smurfing, thanks for your help too. Was reading some discussion here on High Pass and frequency separation - amazing - lots that I didn't know - but I think it will take too long for the current purpose. I'll share the result later. cheers mazzara

Re: skin - car seat marks - how to get id done fas Think that the patch tool might do the trick, it's the obvious one that comes to my mind right now...(for the car seat marks I mean)

Re: skin - car seat marks - how to get id done fas You won't get that done on 80 images fast with really good results. For web imagery I could see a bit of healing brush work and cloning set to lighten or darken modes. A little burning and dodging is probably inevitable on the larger spots unless you're using something like that cheesy blur/highpass technique, and that really looks awful. It just doesn't leave the feeling of skin or texture and still doesn't take care of all of these problems. edit: doh! didn't see how small these were going until I'd already posted this, yeah you can get away with cheap techniques at such a low resolution
