| image resize in adobe illustrator Hi every one I have a question... When I place an image (psd file) in adobe illustrator and I resize it inside these program (just change the size from the transform option) does these affect the pixel and resolution of the image?? – does it affect the quality of the print?? Because I know that resize the image inside Photoshop cause losing of some pixels and if I keep doing it the resolution and quality become low so does the same in adobe illustrator????? |

| Re: image resize in adobe illustrator Resizing a pixel / rasterized / bitmapped image, whether in PS or Illustrator, any other program will experience the same type of resizing loss. However, vector images, which is what Illustrator prominently works with will not experience a loss in Illustrator. But Photoshop will also handle vector imaages and will resize them without loss. You can also ctreate vector images in PS, although the tools to do so in PS are not near as powerful as AI. Regards, Murray |
