help removing necklace Hey everyone, i been wondering around on this site for a week know and see many great tips. Now I need help with removing a neckless and keeping a real look to the shirt. I posted the original image and my edited version. With the edit i stopped when needing to remove the neckless. I personally don't think it's an issue but the guy asked if I could remove it. If I do something wrong with this post please tell as this is my first post. I hope you can help.

Re: help removing neckless Don't forget to tell us what software and version you are using. If you are using CS5, removing the necklace is pretty easy with the content aware feature.

Re: help removing necklace Hey Teastmen, you are right my bad! I'm using photoshop CS4. I my self have a few problems when trying to get rid of the neckless. One is getting a good selection(easy) of the neckless. And after selecting it what should I do, patching it doesn't really work and maybe the other way around? I hopi you can help me. Greetz, steve

Re: help removing necklace If you have Photoshop, the clone or patch tool should work to eliminate the necklace. Sample attached done with clone tool. The Content Aware Fill will not really work well on this image. Regards, Murray Last edited by mistermonday; 11-01-2010 at 07:01 PM.

Re: help removing necklace For this I would lasso some tshirt put it in a new layer over the top of the necklace. Then do a mask to hide all, and just paint where you need. The next step would be to use the clone tool to finesse.

Re: help removing necklace Hey guys thanks a lot. It seems to me thatRob did the best job and I think it is the fastest way to. I say it's best because it seems more natural with the wrinkle. Either way I want to thanks both of you for your effort. I'll give it a try and post the result. Thanks steve

| Re: help removing necklace I think that cloning first and then patching second with some of the tee shirt fabric pattern would do the trick, fade the patching then to keep the luminosity discrepancies... Worth a try. :-) PS: In the image provided here ¬ The patch tool is irrelevant, the resolution is too low and we cannot see any pattern at all. Last edited by 4personnen; 11-02-2010 at 04:42 AM. | Re: help removing necklace You can simply remove the necklace using clone stamp tool. Clone Stamp tool is useful for duplicating objects or removing unwanted elements of the image. If you need any help you can follow this tutorial. Thanks Shumi |
