Another scribble removal

Hi all, I'm trying to remove some blue scribbles from a photo, I first tried just using the heal tool, which worked ok but was a lot of work, then I read some similar threads and used that method, which was make a new layer from blue channel, then replace colour on a colour layer with paint brush tool, which works better, but messes up the colour a bit and I can't work out how to fix it. Then there was a method using frequency seperation with a fantasic result, but the work flow just baffled me?! Any help greatly appreciated, I have uploaded a sample here, thanks.

Re: Another scribble removal

I used the same work flow as in this post, but I replaced curves adjustments with cloning. It might be faster that way.

I found some good frequency seperation tutorials actually, I'll have a look at those first, is there anything else I need to know?
Thanks

Be careful when working with a healing brush on the High Pass filter layer, you could easily mess up a good texture. If this happens, copy this portion from the layer under it.

Re: Another scribble removal

When you say cloning, do you mean painting over the scribbles with the right colour or something else?

Cloning on the Low Frequency layer using the clone tool 14-25 (gently).

Re: Another scribble removal

Well I didn't get very far at all with the frequency separation method, either you make it look a lot easier than it is chillin or I am doing something wrong!?

The copying good colour channel into new luminosity layer method seems much easier, but screws the colours up and I dunno howto fix them?!
