yes...more help with double chins!!!!

yes, I have tried...and yes, I think have failed. I have been trying to remove the double chin from this photo for the past few days and think my liquify skills are less than stellar.

I am wondering if anyone could help me out with cleaning it up. I am going to lay this photo into a poster and so therefore it will be nice and big and it seems my liquify efforts are too noticeable at that size.

Any help welcomed greatly!!

Mardi, welcome to RetouchPro! Ten minutes of dodge & burn is probably the fastest way to get rid of the double chin and you may find that you do not need to reshape anything.
Regards, Murray

Take out the hard line on the chin and add a shadow; any appropriate tool, I used a curve.

Re: yes...more help with double chins!!!!

Noisy image with a lot of artifacts made this simple fix a bit more difficult; but with a bit of liquify and some dodge and burn, it worked ok as an example.

Re: yes...more help with double chins!!!!

Well one way to reduce a double chin is to:
Select the area right below the chin, the shirt and the tie and copy that to a new layer

Then using the move tool move the shirt and tie to cover the double chin.
