Glitz retouching

Hi there!
I really want to know how the retouchers make the skin look so fake. I have tried it so many times and I always fail on it. Also, I want to know how they make these eyes as they look stunning to me I would like to learn that too. I always take them from other Glitz photos, but it doesn't look really good. I've attached a real "Glitz" photo and my try on making a Glitz photo.

I guess there are various ways to achieve this look. My 1st impression is that you can do it with Photoshop using surface blur, and tweaking the eyes color using hue and saturation, (not the only way to do it thou...). Everyday I'm seeing a boom of new programs to get this kind of look just by pressing a button. You can do a search on retouch programs, and I'm sure you are going to find one that does this effect.

I think you need to working on keeping some shading to give form.
In your picture,the white of her eyes is too flat, looking at the lady in the previous pic, her eyes have shading and so does her skin but in yours it is all way flatter and so not so convincing.
