Changing eye make-up Hi, I have a headshot that I took and the make-up that the MUA applied was far too heavy for the mood of the shot. I have tried removing it and replacing it with something lighter. I have also sent the image to three professional retouchers who have managed to do a worse job than I did. Is there anyone here that can help. This is a low res version of the original, the dark eye liner and flicks need removing and the eye shadow needs to be a golden bron to match her hair. The lines that extend down her nose from her eyebrows need removing as well. Thaks, Andrew.

Re: Changing eye make-up Thanks for responding, as for professional retouchers I know what you mean. All three advertise heavily on MM and charge for their services so in my mind they are professional, however employment status and ability are not linked! I have uploaded a hi res of the eyes to my site as it is too large to post here. www.applephoto.co.uk/ext_images/rin/rin.jpg

Re: Changing eye make-up there u go www.nataliataffarel.com/rin.psd.zip I didn't want to spend too much time on it - the image needs badly another raw conversion and different treatment. But as far as the eye make up goes, you'll see what I did. There's really no other way (faster) to make it work (if you want 100% good results) If you don't care about loosing texture, you could just clone it - and you need some drawing skills to reconstruct the eyelid. I dunno how much you paid for the fix to the "retouchers" I don't think I'd take this job because I don't "fix" things - you should have planed the make up better. But if I did take it because... I dunno, lets say I liked you - I would charge for at least two hours of work. x

Re: Changing eye make-up That's great, just what I needed. Thank you so much. I won't go into the saga of the make-up but it wasn't my usual make-up artist and this was a headshot I rather liked from an oriental styled set. The image was a straight output from Lightroom with everything at default settings. Thanks once again, Andrew.
