Re: Please help to match color looks like all you have to do is desaturate imo..........

Re: Please help to match color went into hue/saturation and checked colorize and adjusted the color to come close to what the others look like... I see some color on the samples lips, so painted through the mask to bring a sliver of color to the mouth.

Re: Please help to match color I took the previous one I submitted and dropped it over the full sample and lowered the opacity to let a little color bleed through and then added contrast and noise to loo more like your other samples, which are grittier.

Re: Please help to match color Try Channel Mixer Adj layer with Monochrome checked and set to Luminosity Blend mode. In the R channel drag up the Blue slider and the R&G appropriately reduced. This should make his skin less smooth / more grungy. Add another Channel Mixer layer to desaturate. Sharpen a merged copy. Adjusting the opacity and playing around with the sliders on the previous 2 layers will allow you to vary the intensity of the effects to taste. Regards, Murray

Re: Please help to match color I first matched luminosity using a temporary B&W adjustment layer and curves to dodge and burn. Then it is simple to sample like areas of color and paint in. Butch

Re: Please help to match color Hiya chellam, Don't know why I tried this, but I couldn't resist for some reason, anyway hope it may give you some ideas. The screen capture tells its own story, hope it's not too shabby. John Edit:-- looks a little too red now on posting, ah well.

Re: Please help to match color I had a little play using match colour in the image menu, then dragging the sliders in that option. It got about the same luminosity but the man's face was still pinker. Using colour adjustment did help to match the shadow areas more. I didn't bother capturing it for upload as I am only on the laptop and the screen isn't calibrated .

Re: Please help to match color The RAW file is no longer RAW as you had to post as a JPG, but I opened it in BRidge and then "Opened as Camera RAW" and set these adjustments. Came pretty close. You may have to adjust further in post processing. As you can see from the many responses, there are always more than one way to skin a cat.

| Re: Please help to match color Topitoo, I am not sure exactly what you are trying to match. I went for the color and tone as the samples were lower res and grittier because of it. This original is much higher res and can be brought pretty close to examples by opening it in RAW and using settings similar to the one I posted earlier. You may have to do additional adjustments - I did a curve move in the Green channel taking the 255 input to 252 and the Blue input from 255 to 246 - hence making it overall a bit yelllowish-greener (technical term, you know).
