| How to achieve this look Hello everybody, I´m new to retouchPRO and I think I´m going to really like it here. I´m sure that I´m going to learn a lot of great things. I fell in love with the look on the image that I attached but I´m having problems achieving it. Any ideas? Thank you very much |

| Re: How to achieve this look It is so small it is hard to see, but it looks like it has a color cast that kind of matches the color of the dried grass in the hills. To start, they might have created a curves adjustment layer to lighten the shadows. Maybe a desaturated copy on reduced opacity over that. Then a solid (grass color) fill layer on reduced opacity and some kind of blend mode (screen, color, etc?) Perhaps a couple of these layers on different modes with very low opacity. Or the same idea using a gradient map instead with the colors of the gradient sampled from the hills. Of course there are a million ways to achieve the same effect but those are just a few things you can play with. |
