GUCCI - trendy vintage/desat looks

Does anyone have any ideas (specifically) for how to adjust images to look like the current Gucci ads? They are somewhat desaturated, vintage looking.

I assume it is a combination of curves and overlays, but wanted to see if anyone had a more specific idea.

Examples:

You can start with lifting the blacks, they are mostly blueish ( Curves, lift bottom curve of blue channel ), or make a Solid Color Adjustment Layer , amke it dark blue and set blend mode to Exclusion ( then adjust the color further ).

Thanks, I'll try that exclusion. I've used the other techniques and some overlay of solid colors successfully before, but the look is just a little different.
