Re: Help me breakdown style!

Took another stab at it. A really quick edit. I think my key light might have been slightly too high.

I'm going to post a RAW for you guys to play with as well. Again, very appreciative of all the help you've given me!

Re: Help me breakdown style!

I like these a lot better than the last set. I would say you still have some retouching work there to get them to read as nice as possible, but they're an enormous improvement. Good job. The things I would change are things like making the clothing look great and simplifying the skin palette a bit so it's not doing quite so many variations. It takes a light hand though, as this looks cool if it stays a bit crazy. It's part of what I like. If you want the shadows to be really dark, you can always trace them. I wouldn't do it unless you're going to also add a bit of complexion to the face. She's somewhat tan, and she's wearing a fair amount of foundation. I see that frequently. It just needs a little adjustment. If I was doing it I would contour the nose, emphasize those cheeks "slightly", get a nice falloff around the forehead edges, get the perfect shape to the quadriceps in the one on the right, balance the shoes out perfectly, simplify the lighting in the hair, emphasize that earring so it doesn't look flat, and do a bunch of other stuff. That doesn't mean I don't like this one. I'm just saying what I would be inclined to do. With a little work these would look amazing.
